- Requirement: Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program of the College of Engineering for the current semester (excluding students on a leave of absence, overseas exchange students, students enrolled in dual degree programs, students who have faced disciplinary action)

- Recommendation criteria: Students recommended by their affiliated departments/schools for showing outstanding performance in extracurricular activities, including academic publications, entrepreneurial activities, exhibitions, and inventions

- Selection process: Finalists selected from among recommended candidates based on deliberations of the relevant committee under the College of Engineering
